Getting Married While Pregnant
Myths, Tips, Dresses, & More!
When you get married it is a wonderful celebration of two lives joining together in a meaningful bond for life. Unfortunately, there were many previous opinions about weddings that are now since outdated. Years ago, getting married while pregnant used to be termed scandalous, tacky, and unethical by those who feel they have the right to judge others. Unfortunately, despite the views drastically changing over time, there is still a bit of trepidation for women who are engaged while pregnant.
Questions such as “Do I get married while pregnant?”, “Do I move the wedding up so no one can tell I’m pregnant?”, or even “ Should I wait till after my pregnancy to get married?” often arise, making the decision difficult for the couple when it should be a time of joy and happiness. While understandably religious views will play a major factor in certain opinions of pregnancy and marriage, the modern bride should consider only the opinions of herself and her future husband’s when planning the marriage around a pregnancy.
