  • A half teaspoon of corn starch
  • A forth cup of cocoa powder
  • A tablespoon of sugar
  • A small pinch of salt
  • 3 cups of milk – preferably whole milk
  • 8 ounces of chocolate chips, half milk chocolate and half bittersweet
  • 4 ounces of Frangelico
  • 4 ounces of bourbon
  • Whipped cream and hazelnuts for the top garnish

  • Cook your bacon until its crisp, then put it on a paper towel
  • Instead of pouring out the bacon fat, transfer it from your skillet into a bowl
  • Put in the corn starch into the bowl with the fat and stir it until its smooth
  • Next you need a medium sized saucepan
  • Put in your cocoa, sugar and salt into the sauce pan before pouring in your milk, all of the chocolate, and your fat starch mixture.
  • Turn the heat onto medium until everything is melted
  • Continue stirring while the mixture is heated up and completely mixed
  • Now add in your alcohol, stir it gently and then take it off the stove
