Isn’t it fabulous! I found a recipe that you can use for the leftover watermelon that was hollowed out of your now “keg” – it calls for you to simply choose your vodka of choice, put the watermelon in a large bowl, and soak it for a while! Oh my goodness these are amazing!!!!! I’ve done a watermelon keg before Kerry and it is sooooooo easy but I never thought to do a watermelon wedding cake! I’ve just got to try it out because I know it will be a hit! I think, while the watermelon cake isn’t going to be the “main” cake, it definitely is going to be on our dessert station and will look perfect in our wedding this August!

Those watermelon/cucumber popsicle look amazing! I love adding a pinch of salt to my watermelon in the first place – it really brings out the flavor so I can’t wait to try this!! I’m definitely having a summer wedding and using some of these as appetizers and drink options would be amazing (not to say a way to save a fortune)!
